Inspired by “beauty’s many faces”, Lily Lolo sell British mineral makeup, that gives a flawless and seamless complexion without clogging or irritating. Creating their products with every type of woman in mind, their products are made using only ingredients that are proven to nourish and protect the skin. With such a bespoke and popular product (their products are sold in some of the coolest beauty stores and salons around the globe), they required instructional films to show customers how to use and apply some of their signature products.
Filming at the Foundry Studios in Manchester, Standby worked across two days with a two-camera setup to capture the tutorials in as much detail as possible. With the work of model Skye and experienced make-up artist Jane Bradley (who also led the films as presenter), we carefully curated a lighting setup that was as complimentary as possible.
With the shoot over, Standby set to work pulling together this series of instructional films, as well as an extended hour long instructional film. The project was a massive success, with other projects commissioned following on from completion. We can’t wait to work with Lily Lolo again in the near future and help build their already impressive audience further.
“From the initial quote it was clear that Standby were thorough and really cared about what they were doing. The shoot was a completely different experience from previous agencies that we've used, in an entirely positive way. The fact that they absolutely love what they do really shows and the entire team are simply great to work with. The whole process left me with renewed enthusiasm for my way own brand! I'm looking forward to working with them again on future projects. ”
