Tappit are a cashless payment system designed to enhance live experiences such as sports and music by reducing queues, eliminating fraud and providing organisers valuable data and insights. They recently partnered up with Bury FC to become the UK’s first cashless stadium.
Tappit wanted to bring to the foreground their groundbreaking relationship with Bury FC and to highlight the innovation and passion behind their service. We also wanted to take the chance to film a rugby coaching session staged by the Dallaglio Rugby Works foundation; part of Bury FC’s community trust programme.
We decided to shoot the film over the course of two days, the first being a Bury FC game to capture match day footage and the tappit card in action. The second shoot day saw us at Carrington training grounds during a Rugby works training session designed to teach disadvantaged youths team work and confidence through the medium of sport.
In order breathe life and energy into the edit we used glitchy cuts and dynamic camera work, combined with elegant, shallow depth of field product shots of the tappit card and kit in action around the stadium.
