Clogau – Crafted with Love | Christmas TVC

We’ve joined the Christmas TV advert party with our latest commercial for Clogau - broadcasting now nationwide! 📺

With this advert we looked at re-using or up-cycling previously used Clogau packaging and follow on from a series of jewellery making classes that Clogau have put on for young people. It was decided to follow the heart-warming story of the young boy gathering as many Christmas craft materials from around the house as he could… not to mention stealing the gift bag his dad was about to use for his rather more expensive gift!

The concept and storyline was developed by the creative team at Standby, notably Ellen our Producer working with Simon, the Director. The advert was delivered as a 60” and a 30” with @LoveSugarScience

We wanted to showcase the love and care that goes into Christmas presents and juxtapose the handmade gift along with the beautiful Clogau necklace… both have meaning, thought and care in their creation and consideration as a gift and are both loved equally by their recipient; the mum and wife respectively.

The cast and crew worked with incredible professionalism and pace, thanks to the slickness of the operation. We managed to capture a lot in a single, perfectly scheduled, day. The client noted this on the shoot day and were very impressed with how the Standby crew pulled everything together and worked on the shoot day!

It should also be mentioned that Gethin and the rest of the cast were an absolute pleasure to work with and there was evident enjoyment throughout the shoot day, by all involved! Merry Christmas! 🎄💫💍
