Week 2 - The Standby Update - Standby Productions

Week 2 – The Standby Update

We cannot believe that 7 days have past and we are sharing with you the Week 2 edition of the Standby update.  Additionally, the weather has been glorious sunshine this week in Ancoats, which has mirrored a chilled vibe in the office.  Nevertheless, we have still had an action-packed week. So here goes Take 2 of the Standby update!

Week 2 Shoots

For the Standby filmmakers the week has been more heavily focused on edits.  Firstly, Chris produced a new end-frame edit for I Saw It Here First. This TVC premiered on Wednesday’s episode of ITV2’s Love Island.  Also, Ash and Jack had the privilege of visiting the seaside haven of Blackpool for a client shoot this week. We asked Jack to share his thoughts on how he felt it went. Plus, we wanted to check he did not just spend the whole time eating fish and chips!

“The shoot with Trinity Hospice went incredibly well. We captured a number of very powerful interviews. That gave an insight into how important these services are to the residents of the Fylde coast. Also, we filmed with a resident from the community, which showed that the services offered by Trinity reaches all homes within the area.”

In other news Felix is dabbling in the art of voiceovers, because he recorded a voiceover for our client Bolton Council.  You will have seen a sneaky preview of the set-up for the recording on our Instagram story this week.  If you do not follow us yet on Instagram, check out the link here to follow us.

Everything Else

Finally, it has been busy for the pre-production crew this week at Standby.  Rich represented Standby at two events in one day, with the intention of creating strong collaborative relationships, which is at the heart of what we do at here at Standby Productions. As on Thursday he attended the Forever Manchester Business Supporters Lunch at the Radisson Blue. Then, in the evening he was a guest at the Prolific North independent agencies dinner, at the picturesque Cloud 23.  Overall, it has been another cracking week and we hope you enjoyed the week 2 edition of the Standby update. We cannot wait to see what next week brings!

Missed the first week’s edition of the Standby update, do not worry catch up here on what went on at Standby Productions.
